D3 110hp – 220hp

Volvo Penta’s 5 cylinder D3 is developed from the latest design in modern diesel technology. This high performance diesel engine is extremely light weight and compact in size. Combined with features like common rail fuel injection system, double overhead camshafts, 4 valves per cylinder, variable geometry turbocharger, after cooler and Volvo Penta’s EVC(Electronic Vessel Control) system, the D3 offers world class diesel performance. All Volvo Penta drives are perfectly matched to all Volvo Penta engines with the choice between single (SX) or Duo prop (DPS) drives for 140 & 170 hp ratings and duo being the standard offering for 200 & 220 models.

D4 & D6 225hp -370hp

Volvo Penta’s D4 (4 cylinder) & D6 (6 cylinder) diesel engines are developed from the latest design in diesel technology. These engines offer common rail fuel injection system, double overhead camshafts, 4 valves per cylinder, turbo charger, aftercooler & of course feature Volvo Penta’s Electronic Vessel Control (EVC). These features combined with with large swept volume and low emissions result in world class diesel performance. The DPH drive is based and designed using Volvo Penta’s experience with their well proven Duo prop sterndrive technology. Optional DPR high speed drive is available for vessels with speeds in excess of 47 knots. All VolVo Penta drives are perfectly matched to the powerful & modern D4 & D6 engines.
