Volvo Penta gasoline powered engines are available in a wide variety of V6 & V8 configurations, with horsepower offerings from 225hp up to 420hp.When you invest in Volvo Penta you are just not just purchasing an engine and drive, you are purchasing a complete propulsion system. Each Volvo Penta sterndrive is specially developed to work with each engine. 

 Volvo Penta gasoline engines now offer the fuctionality of Volvo Penta’s common electronic platform, EVC (Electronic Vessel Control). Standard features such as electronic throttle and shift, Auto Trim function and trip computer combined with flexibile engine data display options, provide you with greater safety, comfort and driving economy.  Optional EVC accessories such as cruise control, tow mode (single installation) and sterndrive joystock (twin installations only) open up wealth of options. For more information on Volvo Penta EVC accessories click here.
